ATR MEDIA BSL -GCSE (The Summary)

OK, so whose Friday afternoon good idea at the time, proposed a GCSE for children, that had no academic references, no qualified or trained teachers to make a class happen, that by-passed parents, basic educational requirements,  and deaf inclusion?  Apparently the Department of Education STILL sees mileage in this, maybe prepared to let it through on 'Language status' or choice, even without real validation or a curriculum.  It is suggested nothing can commence for at least 2 years, when presumably the  random promoters of the idea can scrape together something more tangible, and hoping cash-strapped schools are going to fund it, because the government ISN'T.  Should this travesty get through the system they will try the same again with a 'Cultural' level, and again that is unsourced too. They have already added cultural status TO BSL tuition, which actually has NOTHING to do with awareness of hearing loss, should such a class be allowed that supports only 2% of the whole?
